When making the decision to enter this field, and begin yoga teacher training, you should be sure that this is something you are ready to do as a career. You’ve decided to turn an enjoyable hobby into a lifestyle. What an exciting career change!

While years of practice and a true love of yoga may have guided you toward this exciting career path; it is important to remember that becoming a yoga instructor means people will put their trust in you to help them exercise, get in touch with their bodies and find a calm state of mind. If you have the passion to help others and love the practice, this will be the right job for you.

With that being said, is also important to realize that there are certain requirements needed to teach yoga. These requirements include, but aren’t limited to, a good knowledge of the anatomy and alignment and a few years of practice under your belt. Additionally, each state may require different standards. Depending where you live, the yoga certification process may be a bit different.
